Since these boards are pretty dead, but I still see people logging in, I thought I'd try to drum up some traffic. This is, after all, a forum dedicated to 3.75... so why not a plug for a new system? ;D Project Phoenix is my attempt to create a new revision of D&D 3.5. I'm not marketing it as "3.75", even though that's pretty close to what it is; it got its name in part because I needed to call it something besides "my D&D 3.5 revision" and partly because it sounded appropriate. Basically, I want to do the following: Make the base classes more interesting, such that a player will want to play them to a high (even 20th) level, and make them more focused, as in their abilities are more clearly defined and thematic. Fix a lot of the commonly-noted problems with 3.5 - grappling, polymorph, multiclassing, high-level play, etc. Attempt to streamline play (especially combat) a bit while making it more interesting - no more "I full attack the monster" because that's the best option. Add new rules/systems for things people have been wanting - aerial combat, e.g. If you're interested in taking a look or even trying it out, go here. I've been writing Design Diary-type posts every so often, and I've uploaded a bunch of stuff for people to check out.

Nice work so far! Keep it up. I hope that the message boards will become active again. The front page however has some good traffic.
