It's quiet. Too d**n quiet.
For all the chatter on other boards about other e's of The Game, it seems people around here just don't care that much.
3.75 is a great idea waiting to happen - a 'finished' 3e could be the basis to keeping interest alive instead of letting it wander over to the shiny new 4(WoW wannabe)e. OSRIC is doing that for 1e.
The magazine has potential as well. I know it's work putting it together, but a community effort could put something serious together that could be used to attract people here. Maybe spruce up the site itself to show more of what is on offer (it works as is, but I think it could just be a little more dynamic upfront). Get the community involved producing stuff; rules, updates to rules, adventures, maybe fiction and art.
Maybe.

Thanks for shouting As you already might know, some of the big companies, payed the fee to get the 4E rules now. However some of the more recent 4E updates still do not appeal to me. And I will still stick to 3.x and promote it, not only for reasons that relate to rules. More than ever I think that it is not neccessary to pay lots of money for virtually the same things again. What makes me really angry is what they do to some campaign settings, like FR. As for the magazine: It was downloaded for about 400 time, which is much IMO, but almost no response in whatsoever.

I think what's happening, is what I expected. People are waiting to see what those water logged Wizards have done. They haven't been very forth coming in anyway that matters.
I've run into more people looking to backwards adapt the parts they like then strike out and rewrite it themselves. Who knows, maybe Wizards/Hasbro will break down and admit they didn't know what they were about and have been high for last few months.... I can hope can't I?
Speaking of writing yourself, I'm not waiting. I've already begun rewriting the base PHB classes in a Talent/Bonus feat style akin to d20 Modern. I'll open a thread in the house rules of 3.5 if I may.

Oh that's nice. That gets added to the list along with Dawnforge. I also got pointed to a redone set of d20 Modern rules, Classically Modern.

Yes he is working as a rules consultant. Monte's Book of Experimental might was a big success. Recently a print version was announced by paizo.
